What FE does for you
- Scoping & preliminary sizing: assessment of your thermal potential and preliminary calculation of savings (COP, OPEX savings, tCO₂/year).
- Assistance with applications: Participates in preparing applications with supporting documentation (schematic diagrams, assessments, reference scenarios/simulations).
- Performance commitment: measurement and verification plan aligned with the requirements of clients and third-party investors.
Third-party investor (“Heat as a Service”)
For sites wishing to limit CAPEX commitments, FE can be integrated into a third-party investor arrangement (“Heat-as-a-Service”):
- An energy operator finances, builds, and operates the carbon-free heat production asset (MVR alone or PAC + CMV). The customer purchases a contractual useful heat (€/MWh) with performance commitments.
- FE’s role: MVR system designer-integrator (EPC), with process performance commitments in the operator-investor’s contractual chain.
Benefits of the model
- Outsourced CAPEX, transition to predictable OPEX (€/MWh).
- Access to subsidies provided by the investor (CEE/Heat Fund), pooling of technical risk via performance contracts.
