{"id":7552,"date":"2026-01-02T16:53:58","date_gmt":"2026-01-02T15:53:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.evaporation.fr\/an-iconic-project-for-industrial-water-treatment\/"},"modified":"2026-01-27T17:18:03","modified_gmt":"2026-01-27T16:18:03","slug":"an-iconic-project-for-industrial-water-treatment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.evaporation.fr\/en\/news\/an-iconic-project-for-industrial-water-treatment\/","title":{"rendered":"An iconic project for industrial water treatment"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We recently completed the commissioning of a large-capacity <a href=\"https:\/\/www.evaporation.fr\/en\/technologies\/evaporation\/\">evaporation <\/a>unit in Mexico, dedicated to the advanced treatment of industrial wastewater.<br\/>This major project illustrates both FE&#8217;s technical expertise and our commitment to responsible industrial solutions that are adapted to today&#8217;s environmental challenges. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A combination of technologies for reliability<\/h3>\n\n<p>The installation is based on a combined technological architecture designed to ensure continuous and reliable operation, even with complex effluents:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list fe-list-decorated\">\n<li class=\"fe-list-decorated \"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.evaporation.fr\/en\/technologies\/evaporation\/falling-film-evaporation\/\">a falling film evaporator,<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.evaporation.fr\/en\/technologies\/evaporation\/forced-circulation-evaporation\/\">a forced circulation system,<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.evaporation.fr\/en\/technologies\/evaporation\/mechanical-vapour-compression-mvc-mvr\/\">three Mechanical Vapor Recompressors (MVR).<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>This configuration optimizes the treatment process while ensuring high operational stability, regardless of variations in load or effluent composition.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A high-performance, fully automated unit<\/h3>\n\n<p>Fully automated, the unit operates independently in terms of energy thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.evaporation.fr\/en\/technologies\/evaporation\/mechanical-vapour-compression-mvc-mvr\/\">mechanical vapor recompression<\/a>. It achieves a capacity of 36 tons of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.evaporation.fr\/en\/technologies\/evaporation\/\">evaporation <\/a>per hour without the need for an external energy source, demonstrating the efficiency of the process used.<\/p>\n\n<p>Over the course of a year, 350,000 tons of industrial wastewater will be treated, equivalent to 130 Olympic swimming pools.
