This long-term partnership has enabled us to apply our expertise in integrating evaporators at several of their production sites, with a focus on sustainability. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A new strategic phase from 2022<\/h3>\n\n<p>Since 2022, this partnership has taken a new step forward with a clear objective: to concentrate different types of sugars by evapo-concentration, in order to reduce energy consumption and lower the carbon footprint of industrial processes.<\/p>\n\n<p>The principle ?<\/p>\n\n<p>Eliminate water by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.evaporation.fr\/en\/technologies\/evaporation\/\">evaporation <\/a>to obtain a sweet product with the precise concentration required, while recovering and recycling the energy used during the process.<\/p>\n\n<p>To meet this challenge, we designed and implemented a set of 5 evaporators, coupled with 5<a href=\"https:\/\/www.evaporation.fr\/en\/industries\/decarbonization\/mechanical-vapour-compression-mvc-mvr-2\/\"> Mechanical Vapor Recompressors (MVRs)<\/a>, for maximum energy recovery.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A significant carbon footprint<\/h3>\n\n<p>The results are as high as the stakes:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list fe-list-decorated\">\n<li class=\"fe-list-decorated\">15,000 tonnes of CO\u2082 saved every year,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"fe-list-decorated\">That&#8217;s the equivalent of 15,000 round-trip flights from Paris to New York.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>These performances demonstrate the relevance of a well-mastered technology, applied to existing industrial sectors, with immediate benefits for the climate.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Multiple, high value-added applications<\/h3>\n\n<p>The concentrated sugars obtained are not simply used in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.evaporation.fr\/en\/industries\/agri-food\/\">food industry<\/a>.
